Tank welding with an ESAB MKR 300 column and boom

Print Print
The MKR 300 can cover high and long distances – from three to five metres for both vertically and horizontally, stationary or with a rail-borne carriage.

The welding head is always in the centre line of the carriage for convenient positioning and joint tracking. The +/- 180° column rotation facility provides a total action radius.

The ESAB PEH process controller can store 10 different sets of welding parameters and heat input with all the parameters displayed during welding. The welding heads are the A2 Minimaster or A6 Arcmaster, with a rear-mounted wire reel as an option.

For flux handling, ESAB offers the popular OPC flux-recovery system.

ESAB has power sources ranging from 635 to 1,600 amperes with 100% intermittence.

During welding, joint tracking can be performed with manual slides and a guide lamp.
As an option, motorised slides controlled by a PAK joystick control or GMD with an electro-mechanical sensor can be used.
