In 1999, ESAB became the first supplier of welding products with an ISO 14001 certified production unit. The implementation of Environmental Management Systems according to ISO 14001 has continued and ESAB is aiming to become the first company in the welding business to achieve group EMS certification. The scope of the group certificate comprises design, development, production, sales and services of welding and cutting products.
