Our quality is also our customer’s quality
It is the mission of every one within ESAB who has customer responsibility, to constantly exceed our customers’ expectations.

This means, for example, that the products we supply must be better than our customers’ expectations in terms of construction and design. The same principle applies to all other links in our value chain – such as deliveries, documentation and service.

ISO 9000
All of ESAB production units have ISO certification, which is proof that we give top priority to quality issues.

For every unit there is a quality manual, which describes in detail how the quality work should be done. In addition to ISO, ESAB has obtained certification from a number of other bodies including ASME, KTA and TüV. Furthermore all production units for welding consumables have product approvals from VdTüv and many of the classification societies.

Our sub-suppliers’ quality work is just as important as our own
We cannot supply products with a higher and more consistent quality level than that of the materials and components we receive from our sub-suppliers.
This means that their quality, and the work they do to improve the level of quality still further, is also a matter of concern to us.
We therefore aim to establish long-term, close partnerships with our sub-suppliers. We like to regard ourselves as partners with a joint aim, rather than working with the traditional customer/supplier relationship.
